The new United Concordia contract offers three key Improvements: • Increased access to more dentists near you, including specialists • Reduced monthly premiums • The ability to meet with dentists online for check-ups, care planning, and other basic services. You can schedule care once you’re enrolled, as detailed in the TRICARE Dental Program Handbook that can be downloaded from the TRICARE Publications page. TRICARE PHARMACY PROGRAM On the TRICARE website, click the “Costs” tab and then select “Pharmacy Costs” to view 2026 and 2027 calendar year pharmacy costs for Active Duty Service Members and for all other beneficiaries. Note that effective Feb. 28, 2026, Pharmacy copayments are waived for TRICARE Prime Remote enrollees in the U.S. for covered drugs at military pharmacies, home delivery, and retail network pharmacies. The TRICARE Pharmacy Program provides prescription drugs you need, when you need them, in a safe, easy, and affordable way. TRICARE’s prescriptions are managed through the pharmacy contractor, Express Scripts®. By visiting the TRICARE website Pharmacy page, you can: • Sign up for secure services with Express Scripts • Download the free mobile app • Search the TRICARE Formulary • Check Pharmacy Costs Copayments and cost-shares for prescription drugs are based on your beneficiary category, beneficiary group, type of drug you need, and type of pharmacy you use. ADSMs pay nothing out of pocket for prescription drugs. All other beneficiary types pay copayments for drugs from TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery and TRICARE Retail Network Pharmacies. There are no copayments for prescriptions filled at military pharmacies. TRICARE Drug Categories: TRICARE groups pharmacy drugs into four categories: Generic Formulary, Brand Name Formulary, Non-Formulary, and Non-Covered drugs. Pay the least for Generic Formulary drugs and the most for Non-Covered drugs, regardless of whether you secure them from home delivery or a retail pharmacy. Beneficiaries using a non-network retail pharmacy for these drugs will have to pay 100 percent of the cost of the medication. New Medications: When prescribed a new medication, you and your health care provider should look up the drug with Express Scripts’ TRICARE Formulary Search Tool. Maintenance Drugs: If taking Maintenance Drugs regularly for a chronic condition like High Cholesterol or High Blood Pressure, look for your prescription at Health.mil to see if it is listed on the “Maintenance Drug List.” Or call Express Scripts. If your prescription is listed, fill it up to two times at a network pharmacy. After that, switch to home delivery or to a military pharmacy. If you continue to fill your prescription at an out of network pharmacy, you’ll pay the full cost.
