The 27-acre Wahiawa Botanical Garden is “a tropical jewel” with Hawaiian palms, trees, ferns, and native plants. Just north of Wahiawa’s center, Kūkaniloko Birthstones State Monument (Kamehameha Highway at Whitmore Avenue) is a five-acre parcel amid pineapple fields with historic and sacred birthstones.
