Roosevelt), a oneman takeout operation, turns out artisan pies with a crisp-chewy crust in just one perfect size. Attached to Funland Entertainment Center in the heart of downtown, Seaside Fultano’s Pizza (215 Broadway) is a kid favorite. And Pizza a’ fetta (611 Broadway), a longtime Cannon Beach hot spot, has expanded to Seaside with acclaimed traditional and gluten-free pizzas. Dinner Indulgences When it comes to a special occasion, Seaside offers a number of sophisticated options. You’ll feel transported to Tuscany at intimate Nonni’s Italian Bistro (831 Broadway), a family-owned establishment known for its scratch-made trattoria fare. You can’t go wrong with steak and seafood in Seaside. At Finns Fish House (227 Broadway), share a deep bowl full of steamer clams and a bottle of crisp white wine or tuck into slow-roasted prime rib with an Oregon pinot noir. Norma’s Seafood & Steak (20 N. Columbia), set in an unusual building designed to resemble a lighthouse, also prepares excellent steaks (try the T-bone), as well as whole Dungeness crab dinners and other local fish and shellfish. Twisted Fish Steakhouse (311 Broadway) is another favorite, with a classic surf-’n-turf menu of hand-cut steaks and local seafood. Chēz wine bar and deli (719 First) offers artisan sandwiches and soups with a curated selection of Oregon wines, plus regular wine dinners with rotating winemakers.
