Alfred A. Loeb State Park on the Chetco River offers a hike through the country’s northernmost redwood forest groves on several trails. From late November through December, the Nature’s Coastal Holiday Festival of Lights transforms Azalea Park into a colorful, dazzling show with 3 million lights.
