Lincoln City Visitors Guide 2025

BE KIND TO THE COAST If we all work together to take care of these natural spaces so beloved on the Oregon Coast, our beaches and forests will remain clean and sustainable for generations to come. Be mindful of sensitive habitat like tide pools, sea stacks, estuarial wetland areas near rivers, and swaths of beach grass. In tide pools, look but don’t touch, and watch your step on the rocks so you don’t injure small creatures. Please respect Lincoln City’s leash law, which exists so that you may bring the family pet along while ensuring safety for wildlife and other visitors. Remember that fishing, crabbing and clam digging require a license. Learn more about seasonal regulations and harvest limits for fish and shellfish by visiting MyODFW.com. While at the beach, pack out what you pack in, and bring along a bag to pick up any possible trash you find along the way. Send Explore Lincoln City a photo of your debris bag and be eligible to win a handmade glass float as part of the Trash for Treasures program. And if you’re in Lincoln City on Earth Day in April, join the friendly crew picking up beach debris at the annual spring SOLVE Beach Cleanup event. Did you know? A large colony of harbor seals can be spotted on the Salishan Spit in Siletz Bay. Pups are born in the spring and, while very cute, should not be approached or touched — for Mom is often just offshore hunting for food and will be returning shortly.
