BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION The NW Connector is an intercity bus service that specializes in connecting coastal communities. Hop on the bus route that travels between Lincoln City and Salem, with stops in Rose Lodge, Grand Ronde, and Rickreall. The NW Connector also travels up and down the coastline, north to Astoria and south to Yachats, with three-day or seven-day all-you-can-ride passes. BY BIKE Biking along the Oregon Coast can be a challenging but memorable experience. Whether traveling from the Willamette Valley or up and down the Coast, be extremely mindful of safety and variable conditions. Highway 18 connects Lincoln City with the Willamette Valley (and to I-5), through McMinnville and world-class wine country, or branch off of 18 to Highway 22 through Salem, the capital of Oregon.
