The Surfrider Foundation has certified the Stephanie Inn Dining Room along with Public Coast Brewing Co. — where local blueberries make their way into beverages and desserts — as “ocean-friendly” restaurants that embrace and incorporate sutainable, reusable and largely plastic-free practices into their operations. Elsewhere, wild-caught fish is the star at Ecola Seafoods Restaurant & Market, which has an extensive list of seafood baskets. For the over-21 crowd, MacGregor’s Whiskey Bar has bolstered its menu under new ownership and includes items like smoked salmon and Oregon Coast-made cheeses.
