Join them at their Keiki Sunday event along with 808 Clean Ups in helping the community with a beach cleanup at Kaupo Beach followed by a honu release, then head across the street for family fun and educational activities at the park. FREAKY FRIDAY THE MUSICAL BY MO’OLELO STUDIOS September 27 – October 6 This coming fall, Mo’olelo Studios brings the new, joyful, and hilarious “Freaky Friday” to the Hawaii stage for the first time! Based on the novel by Mary Rodgers, which gave birth to two popular films, Freaky Friday tells the story of a mother and daughter who magically swap bodies for 24 frenzied hours. Directed by Mo’olelo Studios’ Artistic Director Kyle Kakuno, with high-energy choreography by Ku’ulei Kekoa and musical direction from Diamond Head veteran Judy Yoshioka, this lively show promises to be “delightfully spunky” with “timeless appeal”.
