www.AlaskaAlliance.com 37 Alaska Resource Education, Oxford Assaying, and the Alaska Miners Association are pleased to offer a $1,500 scholarship for continuing education to a high school junior or senior with the winning submission to our scholarship contest. This scholarship is in honor and remembrance of Toni Logan Goodrich and her dedication to Alaska, the resource industry, and students in this community. The scholarship winner will be presented at the annual Alaska Miners Association Convention on Nov. 7 at the Downtown Marriott in Anchorage. Students must answer the question below by submitting one of the following: n A 500-1,000-word essay n A 30 -90 second video How can Alaska’s mineral resources play a role in the growing worldwide demand for new technology?
