Based on a memoir, the story relays the experiences of LouAnne Johnson, a U.S. Marine who became a teacher at Carlmont High School, a Belmont institute with a rough reputation back in the ‘80s. LouAnne must have been over the moon when she found out she’d be played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
