Christian is a joyful and energetic eight-year-old who has received support from our dedicated team since he was just five months old. He has participated in AbilityPath’s 1:1 therapy, group classes, and inclusive preschool. Christian’s mom expresses her gratitude, saying “The staff really enveloped him, like he was their child. They knew exactly how to advocate for him and really understood him from the very beginning.” She also connected with other families and learned how to advocate for Christian’s needs. His progress reflects the impact of early intervention. Research shows that 90% of a child’s brain development occurs by age five, making services during these years critical. Now in third grade, Christian continues his growth through weekly speech and occupational therapy. AbilityPath is distinctive in providing support to people with developmental disabilities throughout their lifetime, including educational, therapeutic, recreational, employment, and family support services. Join us and together we can create a world where people of all abilities are fully accepted, respected, and included in all aspects of life—in the classroom, the workplace, and in our communities.
