Celebrating 45 years of service, RMHC Bay Area has been a beacon of hope for families with critically ill children. Last year alone, our Charity provided over 38,000 overnight stays and served 104,000 nourishing meals, amounting to over $18.5 million in economic relief to families. RMHC Bay Area provides no-cost housing, free meals, and comprehensive psychosocial support services for families with children accessing care at the Bay Area’s leading children’s hospitals, including Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland. Core services and programs that care for the entire family are delivered through our 123-bedroom Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, new seven-bedroom Ronald McDonald House Oakland, and in-hospital programs in San Francisco and across the Bay Area. We also provide free oral health care services in Contra Costa and Santa Clara Counties through two Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles. This holiday season, you can make a difference. Join us and bring Comfort and Joy during our annual toy drive that gives families across the Bay Area a chance to select gifts for their children during their medical journey. Your support today will bring warmth, comfort, and a joyful experience to families who are far from home and in need of community care. Sick children need their families— and families need a community of support. Together we can make this season brighter for families in crisis.
