FIELD/FACTORY TENSIONER FINELINE TURNBUCKLE CLASSIC TURNBUCKLE LOW PROFILE RECEIVER • Simple & Low Profile • Customer favorite • Part of “Field”, “Factory,” “Thru+To,” & “Swageless Type #1” Assemblies • Contemporary turnbuckle with clean, sharp lines • Part of all “FineLine” Assemblies. • Classic marine style turnbuckle w/ softer edges • Part of all “Classic,” “European,” “Thru+To,” & “Surface Mount Toggle” Assemblies. • Requires larger holes, but hides within post • Only flat button end is seen • Part of “Swageless Type #2” & “Low Profile Button” Assemblies All assemblies include one tensioning end and one terminal end by default. Some are available with two tensioners instead of one, for longer runs (over 50’) or ones with bends. If none of the assemblies quite fit your project’s needs, choose your terminal and tensioning ends individually. You will see the individual pieces of each assembly listed following the assembly’s page(s). CABLE & FITTINGS TERMINALS & TENSIONERS Terminals (also called “terminal ends”) only anchor the cable. Most of the terminals we offer are variations of the designs pictured to the right. Tensioners are fittings which not only anchor the cable, but also have the ability to pull it tighter. All cable runs require at least one tensioning end. We offer four different types of tensioners, each with different characteristics and benefits. These icons can help you identify which assemblies include cable, which assemblies require a crimper (because we cannot swage both ends in-shop prior to shipping), and which assemblies never require a crimper. Assemblies that have neither crimper icon can be field or factory swaged depending on your preferences. Includes Cable Crimper Required (see p.150) No Crimper Required STAINLESSCABLERAILING.COM | 877.560.9545 | 101
