Khosropour, former president of transplant diagnostics at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Aleah Goodman, ’21, returned to OSU as an assistant coach for women’s basketball. Paul Jungnickel, ’72, retired after more than 25 years as a professor and associate dean at the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy. In June 2023, he received the J. Wayne Staggs Distinguished Service Award from the Alabama Pharmacy Association, as well as the Distinguished Service Award from the Auburn University Pharmacy Alumni Association. Kevin C. Kemper, ’09, M.S. ’11, engineer at X, the moonshot factory; Michael Levy, ’19, operations and software Jenniches Upward Mobility Award. Eric R. Eaton, ’83, a writer and entomologist, published Insectpedia (Princeton University Press), an illustrated, pocket-friendly encyclopedia that dispels many common myths about insects. Modjtaba Ghodoussi, M.S. ’85, vice president for business innovation and partnerships at Teladoc Health; Pavan Hanumolu, Ph.D. ’06, professor in electrical and computer engineering at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; Carl “Brady” Haynes, ’01, director of reactor engineering at the National Nuclear Security Administration; Jay D. McRae, ’83, founder of the McRae Group, LLC; and Tsai Chen Wang, M.S. ’92, Ph.D. ’96, engineering director for WaferTech, were inducted into the College of Engineering’s Academy of Distinguished Engineers. Hannah Austin, ’01, published Hello, Head, Meet Heart with New Degree Press. Austin is the CEO and founder of SheShatters (sheshatters.com), a mental health and wellness company focused on burnout prevention in the workplace. Scott Christianson, ’08, executive vice president of Ferguson Wellman Capital Management; Michael Fuller, ’06, partner at OlsenDaines; Santiago Landazuri, ’08, vice president of employee benefits for USI Insurance Services; and Shannon Mitchell, ’10, vice president at Banner Bank, were all named to Portland Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list for 2023. Brian Cox, ’82, co-founder of Inceptus Medical, a medical device incubator, was recognized with an Innovator Award at the 2023 Phoenix Conference. Cox is an inventor with more than 100 U.S. and international patents for medical devices.
