The April 6 opening of the Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx) represents the culmination of a dream held by generations of Oregon Staters. To help build a community of supporters, OSU President Emeritus, and PRAx board member, Ed Ray pledged a $50,000 challenge to “name” 200 seats in the Lynne Hallstrom Detrick Concert Hall with gifts of $2,500 per seat. The seat campaign was a huge success; we now have a $500,000+ endowed fund that will provide ongoing support for the facility and its programs.
