RV and tent sites can be rented online year-round. Sixteen sites are available (12 with power and water hook-ups and four without hook-ups). TOLL BRIDGE PARK 7360 Toll Bridge Road, Mt. Hood/Parkdale 541.387.6889, hoodrivercounty.gov Toll Bridge Park is about 20 miles east from Hood River off Highway 35, perfectly located to explore the area. All 81 campsites are first-come, first-served. Partial hook-ups (electric and water) are available at 60 sites, and 21 are tent only. Campsites are well spaced and offer good privacy. CASCADE LOCKS KOA CAMPGROUND 841 NE Forest Lane, Cascade Locks 541.374.8668, koa.com/campgrounds/cascade-locks Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, this KOA has forested tent sites, full-hookup RV sites with 110-foot pull-thrus, one- and two-room camping cabins, and deluxe cabins. Amenities include free Wi-Fi and cable, picnic tables, playground, seasonal pool and hot tub, bike rentals, and more. LOST LAKE RESORT 9000 Lost Lake Road, Hood River 541.386.6366, lostlakeresort.org Nestled in Mt. Hood National Forest, Lost Lake Resort offers lodge rooms, cabins, yurts and 148 campsites. Rowboats, kayaks, paddleboards or pedal boats are available for rent on a first-come, firstserved basis. The General Store is conveniently located and stocks groceries, ice, firewood and fish tackle among other things. Campsites can be reserved online six months prior to the camp date. TUCKER PARK 2440 Dee Highway, Hood River 541.387.6889, hoodrivercounty.gov Located outside of Odell, Tucker Park provides sites for overnight camping as well as a day-use area with a small picnic shelter. Reservations are not accepted for campsites or the picnic area. Restrooms and pay showers are available throughout the park. VIENTO STATE CAMPGROUND I-84 Cascade Locks 800.452.5687, stateparks.oregon.gov Only 13 miles east of Cascade Locks, this campground is located on the south bank of the Columbia River at a trailhead for the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail. The park, named for the former Viento railroad station located there, straddles I-84. Viento’s day-use area has easy access to Columbia River windsurfing.
