From the Indigenous Peoples who have fished the waters to the groundbreaking industries that harnessed the might of the Willamette, visitors will experience Oregon’s history. Visitors can send a telegram via Morse Code and see Native American petroglyphs, the original 1850 Oregon City and 1851 San Francisco plat maps, a piece of the Willamette meteorite, and other treasures that share Clackamas County’s rich history.The research library houses one of Oregon’s largest collections and is free to all visitors.
