Oregon Home | 29 Design | STRUCTURE + STYLE FURNITURE DESIGN, SINGLE PIECE OR COLLECTION WINNER DESIGN WITH REFINEMENT designwithrefinement.com The Armadillo is a custom walnut coffee table designed as the final, anchoring piece for a client’s living room. Created in collaboration with Portland maker Kris Kirkman of Kirkman Original, it wraps a single blank of continuous-grain walnut around its entire circumference, softened into a rhythm of triangular columns. Built to be passed down for generations, it transformed a room of first-apartment furniture into a home made to last. Lead Designer: Refinement Wagner Photographer: Kris Kirkman + client photo
