Other sectors projected for big construction growth are education (4.4%), public safety (4.2%), health care (4%), and amusement and recreation (3.9%). According to the AIA Billing Index, released in October 2024: n 41% of architecture firm leaders expected their revenue would be up in 2024 versus 2023; 36% projected revenue would decline, and the remaining 23% said they expected it would remain within 5% of the previous year’s revenue. n 26% of firm leaders said their end-of-year estimates were below what they predicted at the beginning of 2024, but another 26% said their revenue estimates exceeded what they projected at the beginning of the year.
