That includes: n 18,346 bachelor’s degrees n 6,591 advanced degrees and certificates n 86 associate’s degrees and undergraduate certificates The number of associate’s degrees awarded by public universities remained relatively flat through the 2010s; just 78 were awarded in 2008-09. So has the number of graduate degrees, with 6,249 awarded in 2008-09. But the number of bachelor’s degrees awarded by the state’s public institutions climbed slowly upward over the course of the decade, from 18,902 in 2008-09. During the same window of time, the number of degrees awarded by the state’s community colleges nearly doubled. In 2018-19, Oregon community colleges awarded 11,127 associate’s degrees and 3,986 Oregon Transfer Modules (one-year curriculum for students who plan to transfer to a State of Oregon college or university).
