SNOWMOBILING Snowmobilers agree that spectacular scenery makes the Lake Chelan area perfect. There are play areas, warming huts, uncrowded trails, sunny weather, and pristine trail conditions. There are six Sno-Parks in the Greater Chelan Area, with trails regularly groomed from the week before Christmas until mid-March. Visit LakeChelanNordic.org or call 509.687.SNOW for updated grooming reports. SNO-PARK PERMITS The snow is falling in the mountains, and you are ready to explore! Enjoy your favorite go-to trail with the necessary permits to protect yourself and the community. To park in a non-motorized sport Sno-Park, it is necessary to purchase either a one-day permit, seasonal permit and possibly a special groomed trails permit depending on your snow day plans. Be sure your vehicle is marked with a Washington State Sno-Park permit.
