ECHO RIDGE SUMMER TRAILS LENGTH 25 MILES What was originally designed for skiing, snowshoeing, and winter activities has now become a hot spot for hiking. With nearly 30 miles of combined trails, you can easily find a hike suitable for any age or experience level. Easy Family Hike The Pops: 1.3 to 2.3 miles - rolling terrain and big views. Follow signs to the Lower Echo Trailhead. Longer Loop Hike The Outback and Mallory’s Trail: 5 mile loop with short spur up Mallory’s Trail to sweeping views. Follow signs to North Junction Trailhead. Drive: Approximately 30 minutes from Chelan. How to get there: From Chelan, travel west on Highway 150 toward Manson for 1.5 miles. Turn right on Boyd Road. Follow signs to the Echo Ridge Nordic Ski Area, 9 miles from Chelan. Note: A day-use fee of $5 per vehicle is required. Cash or check only. The Northwest Forest Pass or the Interagency Pass covers this day-use fee in summer. Many locations require a Discover Pass.
