While COVID-19 and Telehealth protocols grabbed the headlines during the past five years, 2025 and 2026 have been packed with major announcements on a more proactive, positive front resulting from updated regional T-5 Contracts, staterealignments and other improvements. On Jan. 1, 2025, TRICARE began delivering health care under its new regional T-5 contracts. T-5 provides health care services and administrative support for TRICARE beneficiaries.
