Beginning in August, the Honolulu studio will offer: • Boys’ Beginner Ballet (ages 5–10) • Teen Beginner Ballet (ages 12+) • Musical Theatre (ages 12+) • Contemporary (ages 12+) • Adult Ballet (ages 16+) Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden Closed Every Thursday Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden is now closed every Thursday following a community poll. The weekly closure allows the garden to receive a much-needed day of rest and maintenance. LEGO® Exhibit at Bishop Museum Aloha Bricks ‘26: Stories of Hawaii features colorful LEGO® models of iconic landmarks, native plants and animals, and creative displays built by the Hawaii LEGO Users Group and local students. The family-friendly exhibit is on display through October 11, 2026. Sacred Hearts Preschool Beginning in September, Sacred Hearts Preschool lowered its minimum enrollment age and now welcomes keiki as young as 2 years old. Children’s Discovery Center Annual Maintenance The Children’s Discovery Center will be closed for annual maintenance September 7–13. Families are encouraged to plan their visits before or after the closure. Hawaii’s Parent of the Year Congratulations to Karen K.C.
