The mission of Stepping Stones Academy is to guide children into becoming happy, confident, and independent learners. Their curriculum is child-initiated and teacher-directed, designed to encourage active exploration and optimum learning for each student. Each day, an age-appropriate progress report is completed and sent home. The contents of the progress report may include activities, special progress or achievements, food eaten, or even the number of diaper changes. Families can choose among four Oahu locations in Honolulu, Aiea, Waipahu, 76 Hawaii Parent NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2026 and Kaneohe. Each center features spacious floor areas divided into well-planned classrooms with multiple learning centers, creating an enriched environment where children can engage their senses while learning daily.
