Students are situated in a one-room schoolhouse-style setting that encourages collaboration, leadership, and community. Rooted in an aina-based philosophy, Mo‘O School integrates respect for the land, culture, and community into daily learning experiences. The only school in Hawaii recognized by the Association Montessori Internacionale (AMI), we follow the time-tested Montessori method, empowering students to explore at their own pace while developing confidence, responsibility, and critical thinking skills. Mo’O School also emphasizes strong partnerships with ohana and community connections within our valley.
