A LEGACY OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Each year, Ballet Hawaii’s beloved production of The Nutcracker includes a special dress rehearsal (known as Angel Night) welcoming Title I students from across Oahu to the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall for a complimentary performance. For many, it is their very first experience with ballet. Ballet Hawaii will also continue its meaningful partnership with Shriners Hospitals for Children, sharing excerpts of The Nutcracker with patients and their families, bringing moments of joy, comfort, and celebration. Our holiday programming extends into the community through special performances and installations at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, Prince Waikiki, and Macy’s Ala Moana. Bringing the spirit of the season to audiences throughout the island. EXPANDING THE NEXT GENERATION OF DANCE As Ballet Hawaii continues to grow its presence across the community, it is also expanding opportunities within the studio, creating new pathways for dancers at every stage of life. NEW CLASSES INCLUDE THE RETURN OF THE POPULAR ADULT DANCE INTENSIVE, WELCOMING DANCERS OF ALL BACKGROUNDS BACK INTO THE STUDIO. 76 Hawaii Parent July/August 2026
