Hawaii Parent Jan-Feb 2026

PUNAHOU SCHOOL CARNIVAL February 6 & 7 Join Punahou School for one of Hawaii’s most beloved annual traditions as the Punahou Carnival returns on February 6–7, 2026. This year’s theme, “Welcome to the Jungle,” celebrates the bold energy, creativity, and spirit of adventure embodied by the Class of 2027, who lead much of the planning, operations, and heart behind this iconic event. Families can look forward to all the classic Carnival favorites — from hot, fresh malasadas and Hawaiian plate lunches to mouthwatering snacks from student-run booths. Kids of all ages will enjoy an exciting lineup of keiki games and thrilling amusement rides that fill the campus with laughter and motion all weekend long. Guests can also browse the popular silent auction, explore the student art gallery featuring original works created specifically for Carnival, and enjoy live entertainment and performances throughout the event. Admission is free, and parking will be available on campus, making it easy for families across Oahu to join in the fun. First held in 1932 as a student fundraiser, the Punahou Carnival has grown into a cherished community celebration that brings generations together year after year.
