HAWAII CHILDREN AND YOUTH DAY October 5 Celebrate Hawaii’s keiki at the 32nd Annual Children and Youth Day, taking place on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hawai‘i State Capitol and surrounding areas. This statewide celebration brings together families, educators, community organizations, and leaders for a day dedicated to honoring and uplifting Hawai‘i’s children and youth. With more than 90 organizational booths offering hands-on, interactive activities, there’s something for every age and interest—from STEM projects and cultural crafts to health and wellness resources. Two entertainment stages will showcase live performances by local musicians, dancers, and keiki talent throughout the day, while food vendors will offer a variety of tasty local favorites to keep everyone fueled for the fun. Roaming cosplayers will delight attendees of all ages, and the popular goodie bags are back, packed with fun and useful giveaways. The event also highlights valuable community resources and services that support children and families year-round, making it not just a fun outing but also an opportunity to learn and connect.
