Based in Honolulu and Waimanalo, LDAH provides comprehensive support services including early childhood screenings, school-readiness projects, special-education advocacy training, and peer mentoring. Their mission is to enhance educational, work, and life outcomes by equipping parents and educators with the resources and knowledge needed to navigate IDEA laws, IEPs, anti-bullying strategies, and more. LDAH also hosts monthly events like their Parent Talk Café and community workshops addressing topics from nutrition to disability rights, offering vital support to military families and multicultural communities across Hawaiʻi.
