Our room was clean, modern and comfortable with soft bedding and fresh-smelling bath products. When we needed extra towels, I simply sent a text message to the resort’s number, and someone would promptly respond to our needs. As an added bonus, our MAKAI lanai featured views of the onsite, well-cared-for dolphins – perfect for our toddler’s entertainment. We yearned for a getaway, but where should we go with our two girls, ages one and two? My husband and I wanted to relax and rejuvenate. And we needed a place that could engage our active toddler while accommodating the sleeping, social and nourishments needs of our baby. We decided to staycation at Hilton Waikoloa Village on the island of Hawaii.
