Through YMCA’s Preschool and Early Learning Programs, children experience a nurturing environment where engaging teachers build upon children’s strengths to develop self-confidence and build social and emotional skills. The Y offers a part day early learning enrichment program for toddlers 3 to 5 years old, designed to help children transition from a home care setting to formal preschool. They also offer a full day preschool program for ages 2 to 5 at YMCA Leeward Preschool and YMCA Pali Nu’uanu Preschool, providing exciting learning opportunities that nurture cognitive, social-emotional, physical and creative development to ensure each child is well prepared to enter school.
