FOREVER GI BILL Signed into law in August 2017 by President Donald J. Trump, the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act – also known as the Forever GI Bill (Benefits.va.gov/GIBILL/ForeverGIBill.asp), brings significant changes to Veterans’ education benefits. Consolidation of benefit levels and Yellow Ribbon extension to active Duty Service Members rolled out in August 2020 and 2022, respectively.
