Sunriver Visitor Guide 2026-27

Marketplace SHOP FOR A GOOD CAUSE Rumor has it the Second Tern Thrift Store is one of the best second-hand stores in Central Oregon. Bargain hunters will find quality, used items ranging from books and dishes to recreational equipment and furniture. It is well known that shoppers may go in looking for one item and leave with several. The proceeds from the volunteer-run, secondhand store support the Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory, which equates to shopping for a good cause. Quality donations are accepted. Open Friday and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm. Visit secondtern.com. GRAB A BITE TO EAT The Spring River Plaza has three places to grab a bite to eat on the way to the mountains, lakes or hiking trails or on the way home. A local favorite, The Wallow Bar & Grill is open seven days a week and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Right next door, the Base Camp Grill provides quality food for people on the go and is conveniently located on the way to Mt. Bachelor. The Summit Express Convenience Store has food and beverages for hiking, boating or skiing. HOME & YARD SERVICES Local homeowners depend on Spring River Tree Service, the community expert on Ponderosa and lodgepole pine trees, with a certified arborist on staff. Services include tree removal, brush removal and stump grinding. They are experts at keeping Sunriver homes and vacant properties fire-free. Just off of Spring River Road, you’ll find Springtime Landscaping & Irrigation, which offers a variety of landscaping services for all four seasons, including full service construction, winterization, snow removal and spring and fall clean-up. Spring River Plaza Bargain hunting, great food, and more can be found at the Spring River Plaza, on Spring River Drive, just past Harper’s Bridge on your way to Mt. Bachelor and destinations along the Cascade Lakes Highway. sunriverchamber.com/SpringRiverPlaza Photos courtesy of Second Tern 2026-27 | SUNRIVER MAGAZINE 94
