PUNCHMAGAZINE.COM 21 FALL 2026 + FOOTBALL AND PUMPKINS + OUR 92ND ISSUE {quickpunch} SEPTEMBER + WANDER through the redwoods as you visit art booths at the Kings Mountain Art Fair on September 5-7. Be sure to slow down and chat with the painters, ceramicists, metalworkers and other artists across mediums. + CELEBRATE our agricultural heritage as well as 100 years of the Kiwanis Club with live music, face painting, garden tours and playful puppet shows at Mountain View’s Harvest History Festival at Heritage Park on September 26. Fall holds a special kind of magic. You can feel change in the air, invigorating us in a special way. The weather turns crisp, the heat of summer fades and trees burst into brilliant shades of color. Familiar traditions return—football games, the World Series, pumpkin patches and evenings by the fire. Fall invites us to put on comfy clothes and an extra blanket on our beds. At the same time, it encourages cozy indoor pleasures like warm drinks, hearty meals and favorite books. The season feels reflective without being harsh, offering us the perfect balance between summer’s energy and winter’s stillness. Enjoy picking plump pumpkins and munching on bags of leftover candy! “A wind had blown the rain away and blown the sky away and all the leaves away, and the trees stand.” —E.E. CUMMINGS welcome back OCTOBER + GROW your appreciation of art and flowers at SEED, a group exhibit at Andra Norris Gallery in Burlingame from September 26 to November 6, with an artist reception on October 3.
