Christina Kent is a figurative oil painter based in San Francisco. Her evocative Bay Area landscape paintings explore the subtle interplay of light and color in everyday scenes. Kent has exhibited at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art and galleries throughout Northern California. She is a recipient of the Emerging Artist Award from Pence Gallery in Davis and was selected for an international residency at Pouch Cove in Newfoundland, Canada. In 2024, she was a finalist for the San Francisco Open Studios Juror’s Choice Award. Her next solo exhibition will be at Studio Gallery in San Francisco in March of 2025.
